This notice is to inform you of an important recall notification related to the rabies vaccine your pet recently received at our clinic. Our former vaccine supplier, Boehringer Ingelheim, has informed us that, out of an abundance of caution, it has issued a recall on the specific batch of rabies vaccine that was administered to your pet. A small number of sterile water vials were inadvertently labeled as rabies vaccine. The supplier has identified and corrected the issue, and no other batches are affected. 

 Rabies is a serious disease, so we ask that you please contact us as soon as possible to schedule a free revaccination appointment. A second dose of rabies vaccine does not pose an additional health risk beyond potential adverse events associated with any vaccination. 

We have opened four dedicated days in our schedule to provide expedited appointments for clients affected by this recall. Additional staff and space have been allocated to help ensure these visits run as efficiently and comfortably as possible. If you are unable to attend on these dates, we are happy to arrange revaccination during a regular appointment time.

February 12, February 14, February 19, and February 28th from 8am to 5pm.
