David Martinez

David Martinez is originally from El Salvador.

He graduated with a degree in agronomy in 1981 and worked in the field of public health. He was involved with both large animals and agriculture. He moved to the U. S. in 1989 and began working here as a veterinary technician.

David enjoys working with animals and has a special interest in radiology. David has a three year old American Bull Dog named Spot.



Juan Solis

Juan Solis is a veterinary assistant. He began working here in 2001.

Juan enjoys assisting with medical and surgical procedures. He wants to gain more skills, such as drawing blood and placing I.V. catheters. He hopes eventually to become a veterinary technician. He is currently returning to school to further his education.




Julio Segovia

Julio Segovia has been a veterinary technician since 2001. He began working here in July of 2004.

Julio is currently attending the Los Angeles Valley College. He plans to major in business. He hopes to ultimately have a career in real estate. Julio loves helping animals because he feels that we are their voices. He feels that working with animals rewards his soul. Julio has four dogs and two cats.




Sharon Weisberg

Sharon Weisberg began working here in 1992. She has worked both as a veterinary assistant and as a receptionist, which is her current position.

Sharon has obtained diplomas in animal care from ICS, Professional Career Development Institute, and Harcourt Learning Direct. Sharon also volunteered at the Burbank Animal Shelter in high school. Sharon loves helping animals. She hopes to become a licensed veterinary technician. She has three cats: Precious, Bunjette, and Ms. Kitty.




Susana Galindo

Susana Galindo began working here as a receptionist in 2001. She left in 2003 to start a family. She returned in June of 2004 and we are happy that she is back!

Susana studied for two years at Los Angeles Valley College, where she majored in psychology. She has temporarily left college to spend time with her family, but her ultimate goal is to become a psychologist. Susana enjoys working both with animals and with people.




Janiece Durnbaugh

Janiece Durnbaugh started her career as a veterinary technician in 1973. She participated in the veterinary technician program at Pierce College.

She worked at MS Animal Hospital (now VCA-Burbank) for 28 years. She retired in 2000 to spend more time with her family. She came out of retirement in June 2004 to work for Media City Animal Hospital part-time, and we are grateful to have her! Janiece has eight tortoises, one Chihuahua, four cats, and a koi pond.
